Sensitive skin can feel like one of the hardest skin concerns to treat. Many products cause skin to react further, especially if using harsh formulations. At SKINICIAN we have skincare products that have been developed to treat the most sensitive skin types with ingredients that hydrate and nourish the skin’s barrier without irritating it further.
Cleanser for Sensitive Skin
When you suffer from sensitive skin, harsh cleansers can be hugely irritating to the skin’s barrier, especially when trying to remove make-up. A great first step in cleansing the skin is the SKINICIAN Cleansing Balm, a delicately fragranced gentle balm to oil, that dissolves make-up and removes impurities easily.
We also have our Revitalising Cleanser which is a gentle, soothing milk cleanser to thoroughly cleanse the skin without drying it out. Using ingredients such as chamomile and green tea, which are both rich in antioxidants to protect, nourish and soothe the skin’s barrier.
Toner for Sensitive Skin
Our Revitalising Toner is a soothing complex of Vitamin C, Pro-Vitamin B5 and Cucumber to hydrate, nourish and soothe the skin’s barrier, helping to calm any redness and inflammation the skin may be suffering from. This blend of ingredients also help to protect skin from environmental stresses, protecting from any further irritation to the skin.
Moisturiser for Sensitive Skin
We have created a rich moisturiser packed full of hydrating ingredients such as Botanical Beta Glucans, hero ingredients which work to intensely hydrate and lock in moisture for 12 hours, protecting from any environmental stresses that may be irritating sensitive skin. Including encapsulated SPF30 to protect skin from sun damage, it works to provide gentle hydration, immediate protection and prevent further irritation.
If you prefer a higher SPF, choose our Daily Defence SPF 50. This fragrance-free formula provides broad-spectrum and blue light protection and is suitable for even the most sensitive skin. It contains ingredients such as Gossypium Herbaceum to reduce redness and Niacinamide to reduce inflammation
Treatments for Sensitive Skin
If your barrier is feeling impaired and your skin is suffering from redness and irritation check out the Revitalising Repair Mask which is a creamy face mask formulated with ingredients such as Shea Butter and Allantoin to repair damage, reduce inflammation and restore radiance.
Our hero product for Sensitive skin is our Advanced Calming Serum, formulated with a special Soothing Phytocomplex to restrict the blood vessels, which together with a Botanical Calming Complex, works to reduce swelling and discomfort. An ideal serum for sensitive skin, it works to reduce skin sensitivity and redness and calm irritated skin.
Serums can sometimes be too heavy for sensitive skin which is why we spent years developing the perfect Hyaluronic Elixir, suitable for those with even the most sensitive skin types. This lightweight serum has been formulated to be fragrance-free and uses skin-loving and nourishing ingredients to soothe sensitive skin, such as Aloe Vera and Glycerin to plump, nourish and protect sensitive skin barriers.
