DermaPep™ is an advanced peptide found in selected Skinician skincare products. It is a retinoic acid-like peptide, meaning it is designed to mimic some of the skin-renewing activity of retinoic acid without containing retinoic acid itself.
It helps support collagen and elastin production, improve skin firmness and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. In supplier clinical studies, DermaPep™ reduced wrinkle number by up to 30%, wrinkle area by up to 35% and wrinkle length by up to 33% after 12 weeks of use.
Retinoic acid is the biologically active form of Vitamin A and is well known for supporting skin renewal. Rather than containing retinoic acid, DermaPep™ is a biomimetic peptide that has been developed to deliver similar skin-renewing benefits through a different mechanism.
