Calming Serum

This targeted anti-redness serum is formulated with an extract of walnut and a special botanical calming complex to repair and protect the skin barrier. An ideal serum for sensitive skin, it reduces skin sensitivity and redness and calms irritated skin, particularly if you have allergies or sunburn. 

It features a special walnut extract, rich in antioxidants to shield skin against sunlight and pollution. A special Soothing Phytocomplex™ restricts the blood vessels, which together with a Botanical Calming Complex, works to reduce swelling and discomfort. It can be used to treat several issues such as skin irritation caused by waxing, menopausal hot flashes, sunburn, an allergic reaction – and even inflamed breakouts.

What does a calming serum do? 
A calming serum for the face is used after cleansing and toning and is formulated to reduce skin sensitivity and redness and calm irritated skin, particularly if you have allergies, sunburn or a skin condition such as rosacea. Our Calming Serum will also promote your skin's ability to protect sensitive cell membranes against future environmental damage.  

Can this facial calming serum help acne?
Absolutely, we have great results with this skin-calming serum treating acne or inflamed breakouts. The active ingredients first calm redness and help reduce inflammation and then it helps to repair the skin's barrier.

Is the Advanced Calming Serum good for sunburn? 
Advanced Calming serum can be applied to help treat inflammation caused by sun exposure however you should expect to feel some discomfort. This would be true of any product applied after sunburn. If your skin is badly burnt we would suggest seeking medical guidance.

Can the Advanced Calming Serum be used as a rosacea serum?

Yes, it is a great serum for rosacea, the active calming ingredients help to reduce high colouring and keep skin cool. It also has protective properties and will help repair the skin barrier.

After cleansing and toning, apply a 50p size amount of the calming serum to the face and neck area, avoiding contact with the eyes.
