How often do I need to reapply my SPF?
As our day moisturisers contain SPF 30, a generous application in the morning will give you enough UV ray protection on days when you are not outside for prolonged periods. If however you are going to be outside for a longer period of time, it is important to apply 5mls (approximately a teaspoon) of the SPF 30 minutes before going out into the sun. You should then reapply your SPF every two hours.
If my skin is oily, won’t applying a moisturiser make it oilier?
No. Our Purifying Day Moisturiser combats and control excess oil on the skin and over time will reduce your skins oil production. We have also formulated our Purifying Day Moisturiser with a Mattifying Agent that will absorb oil as it is produced.
How can I tell if I need a moisturiser that is formulated for oily skin types?
You can tell based on the amount of oil that your skin actually produces. If your skin starts to shine and feel oily before noon, it is likely a moisturiser for oily skin would be suitable for you.
Will the SPF block my pores?
The SPF contained in this product is formulated with unique ingredient technology that deliver encapsulated SPF actives into the skin. This provides effective protection from UV radiation without causing excessive oiliness, congestion, or breakouts.
