What is the difference between a moisturiser and eye cream?
It's important to apply a separate eye cream for your eyes as eye creams are formulated specifically for the delicate skin of your eye area. Eye creams tend to have a lightweight formula that is much lighter and more easily absorbed than typical face creams. An eye cream also contains actives aimed at targeting specific problems such as ageing or puffiness.
How do I apply eye cream?
Using approximately the size of a grain of rice per eye, eye cream should be applied above and below the brow bone and under eye area, avoiding the soft tissue of the upper and lower lids. You should use your ring finger to pat in the eye cream to avoid any pulling of the eyes,
Should I apply eye cream in the morning or a night?
We advise that you use an eye cream as part of both your morning and evening routine.
What is the difference between the SKINICIAN Eye Repair and the SKINICIAN Peptide Eye Complex?
OurAgeless Peptide Eye Complex is an anti-ageing eye cream formulated with peptides and vitamin C to boost radiance and instantly reduce fine lines and wrinkles, while UV filters protect the skin from harmful UV rays throughout the day. This makes it the perfect eye cream for your morning skincare routine. TheAdvanced Eye Repair is a triple-action eye cream that works to reduce dark circles and puffiness whilst helping to plump skin and smooth lines and wrinkles. Both eye creams can be used as part of your skincare routine and if you would like to do so, we recommend using our Peptide Eye Complex in the morning and our Eye Repair as your night eye cream.
What age should I start using an eye cream?
When it comes to skincare, prevention is key. The eye area is often the first place the signs of ageing start to appear in the form of fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles. Therefore to delay the signs of ageing we advise that you start using an eye cream as early as your 20s.
Is eye cream suitable for sensitive skin?
Our Eye Repair is suitable for sensitive skin and with the addition of cucumber and shea butter, your eyes will feel soothed and will be protected from irritation.
